Captain (Captain's Treasure) on 918Kiss: symbols, lines and the chest scatter

The 918Kiss 'Captain' tile opens Captain's Treasure, an old-school 9-line pirate slot with Major, Random and Minor jackpot bars and a chest that pays on any position.

Tap Captain in the 918Kiss lobby and you get Captain's Treasure, a pirate slot built the old way: nine lines, parchment-coloured tiles and a frame that looks like a cabinet from a 2000s arcade. It is one of the simpler games on the platform, which makes it a decent first slot to learn the controls on.

Reading the cabinet

Along the top run three jackpot bars: MAJOR in blue, RANDOM in orange and MINOR in green, with the progressive amounts ticking inside. The gold Dollar Ball ENABLE badge sits on the left under them, BACK and the menu icon on the right.

The side panel on the right spells out the format: 5 REEL, MULTILINE VIDEOSLOTS, PLAY 1 TO 9 COINS. The coloured tabs on both sides of the reels, numbered 1 to 9, are the lines.

Symbols, low to high

The filler is the card run printed on scrolls: 9, 10, J, Q, K and A. The pirate pictures sit above them:

  • a navy anchor with a red rope
  • a wooden ship's wheel
  • a folded treasure map
  • crossed cutlasses
  • an open chest spilling gold

The chest is the one to watch. In the second screenshot three chests land on reels one, two and five, on different rows, and the bar under the reels says You won 0.90 on extra. That is a scatter pay: chests count wherever they fall, not only along a line. No free games or bonus screen appear in these screenshots, so this page does not describe one.

Credit and bet boxes

Under the reels, CREDIT shows the balance (9.23 here) and WIN the last payout. Below that are Lines and Bet, each with its own minus and plus keys, then AUTOPLAY and PLAY in green. With 9 lines and a 0.90 bet, the screenshot works out at 0.10 a line, assuming Bet shows the total.

Keeping a short session short

Nine lines is a narrow game, so dry runs of ten or fifteen spins are normal. On a small balance, keep all nine lines on and lower the bet instead. Also check that Dollar Ball is not switched on by accident; it is a separate side game.

If you want to try it, open a 918Kiss account. The Joker123 lobby has two relatives of this game, Captain Treasure and the progressive version. Other 918Kiss titles are listed under mini games.

Troubleshooting and questions

Why is it called Captain in the lobby but Captain's Treasure on screen?

The lobby tile uses a short name. The reel frame itself reads Captain's Treasure, the same game family covered on the Joker123 pages.

What does 'You won 0.90 on extra' mean?

It is how this game labels a scatter win: the treasure chests paid regardless of which line they sat on.
