Seasons on 918Kiss (SCR888): the festive 9-line slot and its DOUBLE mask game

Listed as Seasons, it opens as Seasons Greetings: a Christmas and Chinese New Year slot. This page follows one small win into the DOUBLE mask gamble.

The 918Kiss lobby lists this one as Seasons, but the reels say SEASONS GREETINGS. It mixes two holidays: a Christmas tree and a roast bird next to a lion dance head, red lanterns and a Peking opera mask. The brick pillars on either side hold the line tabs, 1 to 9.

The screen

Along the top: MINOR, MAJOR and RANDOM jackpot counters, the logo in the middle, then a back arrow and a settings cog. Along the bottom: BAL, LINES, BET, WIN, AUTO and SPIN.

The symbols are the Christmas tree, lion dance head, ox head, roast bird, opera mask, heart-shaped gift box with roses, and red lantern. The WILD is a bundle of red firecrackers with the word across it. A red tile reading SEASONS GREETINGS is the bonus symbol. In the hero shot three of them sit on reel 1.

A small win

At 9 lines and BET 9 the balance goes from 4160 to 4151 in one spin: BET is the total stake. The next capture shows a win. A WILD on reel 4 and two roast birds are outlined in pink, and the messages under the reels read "You won on 1 line" and "You won a total of 8". A red starburst button, DOUBLE, appears in the bottom right corner.

The DOUBLE mask gamble

Tap DOUBLE and the reels are replaced by a gamble screen in a Venetian setting. Along the top is a ladder, x2, x4, x8, x16, x50, each step over a white mask printed with a playing card. Below are five dark face-down masks to pick from. The bottom bar changes to BAL, WIN, TOTAL BET (the 8 being gambled) and a TAKE button.

The screen does not print its rules. It works like the usual card-duel gamble: beat the lit card and you climb the ladder, miss and the stake is gone. In this capture WIN reads 0.

Pacing

Each rung doubles the risk as well as the win. If you use DOUBLE at all, take after the first step. The Mega888 version of this game is on Seasons Greetings (Mega888), and the Play8oy page has the full paytable: Seasons Greeting (Play8oy). Other titles are on the 918Kiss mini games page. Troubleshooting and questions

Is Seasons on 918Kiss the same game as Seasons Greetings?

Yes. The lobby calls it Seasons, but the logo on the reels reads SEASONS GREETINGS. It is the same festive slot that Mega888 and Play8oy list under the longer name.

Should I press DOUBLE?

Only with money you are happy to lose. The screenshot of the mask game shows WIN at 0 after a round, which is the usual outcome of pressing it too often.
