Bai Jia Le (eBET): the squeeze panel, the countdown and a 7-7 tie

Bai Jia Le is baccarat, and eBET streams it from a studio with real dealers and a real shoe. The rules are standard. What sets eBET's screen apart is the squeeze: the biggest bettor on each side gets to turn the cards, and the game makes a show of it.

The countdown

A green ring near the dealer counts down with 请下注, "place your bets", under the number. It reads 19 in the first shot and 5 in the last. When it runs out the ring turns into a small icon and 结算中 ("settling").

The panel on the right

From top to bottom:

• The table's limit range, 300 - 300,000, and a personal limit of 300,000.
• A blue and red bar comparing the money on Player (闲) and Banker (庄) from the whole table: 296,431.52 against 369,568.48 in the first shot.
• The squeeze owners: one name under Player, one under Banker, with each player's stake. These change hand to hand.
• Shoe and round info: 牌靴号 VVIP, a long round number and 局数 2, the second hand of the shoe.
• 本局您下注: 0, what you have bet this round.

A hand that ended 7-7

Once the cards are out, a black band covers the felt. Player's side is labelled in blue with its squeeze owner's name, Banker's in red with "(已离开)" after the name: that player had already left the table. Player drew 8♠ 9♥ and Banker 8♦ 9♠. Both total 17, which in baccarat counts as 7. A tie.

The felt and the buttons

The betting area is simple: 闲对 (Player Pair) on the left, 庄对 (Banker Pair) on the right, and a stack of 和 (Tie), 庄 (Banker) and 闲 (Player) in the middle. Numbered seats run round the edge. Under the felt, the chip rail holds 10 to 5,000, with a chip-settings key, undo, clear and confirm to the right.

Roads and chat

The grid along the bottom is almost empty, because this shoe has only just started. Its labels name the roads: bead road, big road and the smaller derived roads. On the far right a chat strip announces players joining the table.

Pacing

The lowest limit is 300 a hand, much higher than an app table. Start in guest mode, as the old screenshots were, until the layout is second nature.
