The Magician Plus is a 9-line slot built around a stage magic act: a magician in a red hat, his assistant, a white tiger, and props such as a crystal ball, top hat, dagger, canary and a gloved hand holding a candle. Red theatre curtains frame the reels.
First look at the screen
Across the top, SCORE sits on the left, then three jackpot boxes marked with a portrait each (the assistant, the tiger and a monkey), then the info, settings and home icons. All three jackpots read 0 in these screenshots. The bottom bar is the usual Play8oy set: LINES, PLAY with minus and plus, TOTAL PLAY, WIN and SPIN.
Symbols
The magician tops the table at 1000 for five, and the neon MAGIC sign is next at 750. The candle-in-glove is one of the cheapest: the hero shot shows three of them on the bottom row paying 5 at PLAY 1. The remaining props sit between those two ends, and the small numbers on the info strip are worth reading in-game before you play.
The feature page
The info page lists four separate mechanisms:
- Main game feature: the tiger and the magician next to each other, left to right, give a bonus score.
- Free game: the assistant and the magician next to each other, left to right, give a free game. More free spins can be won during free spins.
- Bonus game: three or more BONUS GAME symbols open a bonus stage. The thumbnails show a magic cabinet, a tile grid, a cage, the magician and a row of balloons.
- Jackpot: five in line wins the jackpot. How much depends on TOTAL PLAY: 90 qualifies for 50%, 180 for 100%.
Betting with the jackpot table in mind
PLAY 1 costs 9 a spin, far below the 90 needed for even half a jackpot. That is fine for learning the features, since free games and the bonus stage do not list a minimum. Just know that a five-in-line jackpot hit at low bet pays a reduced share, if anything. Raise PLAY only if your budget carries it for a decent number of spins.
