Age of the Gods: Prince of Olympus (Rollex11): choosing lines and line bet on a small budget

The Hercules game in the Age of the Gods family, on Rollex11. Unlike King of Olympus, the line count here is yours to set, which changes how a small bankroll behaves.

Prince of Olympus is the Hercules chapter of Playtech's Age of the Gods series. On Rollex11 it plays in the same web-style lobby as King of Olympus, with one practical difference that matters to anyone playing on a few ringgit: here you pick the number of lines.

The screen

A purple, stormy backdrop framed by two orange stone pillars, five reels and three rows. The title sits at the top centre between the four jackpot boxes: Ultimate Power (around RM986,000 in these shots) and Extra Power on the left, Super Power and Power on the right. Menu tabs run across the very top: New Games, Classic Slots, Video Slots, Table Games, Progressive Games.

Symbols you will see

  • Hercules himself, a gold-toned portrait, the top character symbol.
  • HERCULES logo in white capitals on a red block with purple scrollwork.
  • A fiery hound (Cerberus-style), red on black.
  • Golden apples, a spiked club and a leather belt with a green gem.
  • Card ranks 10, 9, J, Q, K and A in gold, blue, green and red.

How the LINES and BET/LINE boxes work

The bet panel reads INFO, LINES, BET/LINE, WIN (with TOTAL BET under it), AUTO PLAY, TURBO MODE and SPIN. Both LINES and BET/LINE have their own minus and plus buttons. In every screenshot here the player sat at 1 line and RM0.01 a line, so TOTAL BET shows RM0.01.

That is the cheapest possible spin, and it is cheap for a reason. With one line active, only the middle row pays. A Hercules and two golden apples scattered across the top row do nothing. The old page claimed the range runs from 1 to 25 lines; the screenshots only confirm that the count starts at 1 and can be raised.

Pacing a small session

A sensible middle ground on a small budget is to raise lines before you raise the line bet. More lines at RM0.01 means more ways for a normal hit to register, and the total still stays in sen rather than ringgit. Decide a stop figure before you start and check the balance after each batch of AUTO PLAY rather than letting it run unattended.

The same game is covered on NTC33 at Prince of Olympus (NTC33). For another game in the series see Fate Sisters on Rollex11, and for the full lobby the Rollex11 overview. To play, ask for a Rollex11 account.

Troubleshooting and questions

Does playing one line still give a chance at the jackpots?

The four jackpot boxes stay on screen at 1 line. In the Playtech original the jackpot game triggers at random and bigger total bets make it more likely, so a 1-line spin has a smaller chance, not none.

What is the red HERCULES block?

It is the game's logo symbol. In the Playtech original it acts as the scatter for the free games, and the Rollex11 version looks the same.
