Fei Long Zai Tian (Rollex11): reading the paytable and the Chinese-language buttons

Fei Long Zai Tian (飞龙在天, "flying dragon in the sky") is a Playtech slot with a red and gold Chinese theme. The version captured for this page runs with Chinese labels, so this page covers two things: what the buttons say, and what the paytable actually pays.

The screen

Five red reels, three rows, carved gold dragons on the frame and a green number tab strip down each side running 1 to 25. The logo sits in a red and gold plaque above the reels. The symbols are gold-framed Chinese elements and lucky charms: a phoenix in flames, a golden money frog on coins, a pair of koi, a red knotted lucky charm, a bundle of green bamboo, a blue 8, and the five element characters 水 (water), 土 (earth), 金 (metal), 火 (fire) and 木 (wood).

What the Chinese buttons mean

Left to right along the bottom:

• 資訊 Info, which opens the paytable
• 線數 Lines, 25 in the screenshots
• 線注 Line bet, MYR0.01
• 贏 Win, and 總注 Total bet (MYR0.25) under it
• 賭注上限 Bet max
• 自動遊戲 Auto play
• 旋轉 Spin, with 超快模式 Turbo mode in the tab beneath

The message strip reads 點擊旋轉以開始, "click spin to start".

The paytable

The first of four paytable pages lists every symbol. Figures are multiples of the line bet:

Above all of these, a banner during play reads 5個 [WILD] 贏得 10000 x 線注: five wilds win 10,000 times the line bet. The wild tile itself did not land in any of the screenshots.

Checking a win against the table

Three 金 landed on line 21 (bottom of reel 1, top of reels 2 and 3). The paytable says 3 金 pays 5x, and at MYR0.01 a line the win box showed MYR0.05.

In another spin two small wins came to MYR0.04, which fits two lines each paying 2x for a pair of 木, the only element with a two-symbol prize.

Pacing

Most hits on this game are those 5x and 10x element wins, a few sen at a time on MYR0.25 spins. The 750x phoenix and frog lines are what make the numbers work, and they are rare. Play a fixed number of spins and do not raise the line bet chasing them.
