Xian Tao Yan Yi Magic Journey (SKY777): a timed colour wheel with four pilgrims

Xian Tao Yan Yi Magic Journey is SKY777's second Journey to the West betting game, and like Xi You Ji Golden Journey it has no reels. This one runs on a clock. A Time counter at the top counts down, you place chips while it runs, and a big wheel settles the round.

The bet board

Four characters stand under round wooden arches against a misty green mountain backdrop: the Monkey King with his staff, Pigsy in a blue cap, a monk warrior with a blade, and a bull demon. Under each character is a row of four boxes coloured red, green, blue and yellow, with a number above each box and your stake inside it.

The numbers from the capture:

They read like payout odds, with the Monkey King the long shot and the bull demon the likely result. In the capture a single 1.00 chip sits on the monk warrior's blue box.

Placing bets

The green BET box on the left shows the chip value, 1.00 here. Tap a box to add a chip. CLEAR removes your chips, REBET repeats last round's, and the large red button with a green tick confirms. TOTAL BET, WIN and BALANCE run along the bottom.

A DRAW ID box top left numbers each round (914, 915, 916 in the captures), which helps when you check Bet History later.

The wheel

When the timer ends, the board gives way to the MAGIC JOURNEY wheel: an inner ring of red, green, blue and yellow segments and an outer ring of character heads. Together they point to one colour and one character, and bets on that box are paid.

Settings and pacing

The menu icon top right opens SETTINGS: balance, Game Help, Bet History, and switches for music and sound. Rounds come around on a timer even if you place nothing, which makes it easy to keep going. Decide in advance how many draws you will play, and skip rounds freely.
