Japan on 918Kiss has one of the clearer pay screens in the lobby. Here is what it says about the expanding sumo wild, the tripled prizes and the Daruma scatter.

The Japan tile opens a slot whose logo reads Japan Fortune: a castle, red lanterns and cherry blossom on the frame, 50 lines, and a paytable page that actually explains the rules. This page walks through that pay screen, because it answers most of the questions people have about the game.
The main screen in brief
Red lanterns hold up BALANCE, BET and WIN. Under them are RANDOM JACKPOT, MAJOR and MINOR, and the notes 50 Lines selected and Bet per line. The reels show card letters, a Daruma doll, a white lucky cat, fortune cookies, a red torii gate, a castle and a geisha.
The pay screen, decoded
The pay screens come from the menu; there are four pages, numbered in the bottom right corner. The key rules are printed in the top panels.
Sumo wild
The WILD is a sumo wrestler. The rules say it appears only on reel 3 in normal games, it expands to cover all positions on that reel before pays are counted, and the prize is tripled when one or more wilds help make a win. It also counts once for scatters.
Daruma scatter
The red Daruma doll is the SCATTER. Two pay 2, three give the FEATURE, four give 9+ FEATURE and five give 33+ FEATURE. With the wild involved those become 27+ and 99+. Scatter wins are multiplied by total bet. The feature itself is not shown in these screenshots.
Line prizes
Each symbol box has two columns: normal pay and WITH wild (three times as much).
- Geisha and castle: 3333 for five, 333 for four, 33 for three
- Torii gate: 333 for five, 150 for four
- A, K, Q: 150 for five, 33 for four, 5 for three
- 10, J, 9: 99 for five, 20 for four, 5 for three
The line under the boxes reminds you that all symbols pay left to right, scatter included.
What a normal win looks like
In the third screenshot the bet is 0.50 (0.01 per line) and castles and geishas pay on 8 lines, 3.58 in all. The red GAMBLE dice appear bottom right, next to the lucky cat.
Pressing them opens the same Gamble War card screen used on Iceland: the banker's card face up, five Player cards face down, and BIG, SMALL or Take SCORE. Here BANK reads 4.14 and NEXT WIN 8.28.
Pacing a session
The largest figures on the pay screen are all in the WITH column, and the wild can only land on reel 3, so the top prizes depend on one reel. Expect long runs of small card-letter wins between them and size the bet so that a hundred spins or so fits your balance.

Troubleshooting and questions
Where can the wild land?
Only on reel 3 in normal games, according to the pay screen. When it lands it expands to fill the reel, and any win it helps make is tripled.
How many Daruma dolls start the free feature?
Three or more anywhere. The pay screen lists 2 Daruma paying 2, 3 for the feature, 4 for 9 plus the feature and 5 for 33 plus the feature, all multiplied by total bet.
Is there a golden fish double wild?
No. That description came from a different game. The wild on this screen is the sumo wrestler.
