Shark on 918Kiss (SCR888): the animal ring game with the gold and silver sharks

Shark is the classic 'birds and beasts' board: bet on animals, a light runs round the ring, and the tile it stops on pays its multiplier. Gold shark x99, silver shark x24.

Shark is one of the few 918Kiss mini games with no reels at all. It is the old arcade "birds and beasts" board: a square ring of animal tiles around a swimming pool, a light that runs round the ring, and bets on where it stops. The two sharks, one gold and one silver, are the big prizes.

The ring

Twenty-eight framed tiles make up the border. Across the top and bottom you see swallows, eagles, rabbits and lions in groups of three. Doves and monkeys run down the sides, with peacocks and pandas lower down. A silver shark sits in each corner and a gold shark in the middle of every side. The top left corner of the pool shows the JACKPOT counter (405,118 in the first shot), the BACK button and a menu icon, plus a small strip of the last few results.

The bet panel

The panel that slides up from the bottom is the whole game. Top row, four wide buttons:

  • A blue wing icon x2 and a paw print x2, the group bets.
  • Gold shark x99 and silver shark x24.

Bottom row, eight animals: swallow x6, dove x8, peacock x8, eagle x12, lion x12, panda x8, monkey x8 and rabbit x6. Each button has a small counter above it that shows how much you have on it.

Along the bottom: CHIPS (set to 100), BAL 4392, BET, WIN, and the purple LAST RESULT and yellow REBET buttons.

How a round plays

Once bets are in, the panel drops away and the light chases round the ring. Fish swim through the pool and a big golden shark crosses the screen in one shot. In another the pool is empty and a single panda tile at the right edge is lit.

When the light lands, the background changes to show the winner. One screenshot has a grassy field with four cartoon lions and X12 in rainbow letters: the lion paid twelve times its stake.

Pacing

Spreading chips across all eight animals feels safe, but at most one of them wins per round and several pay only x6 or x8. Pick two or three, keep the chip at the lowest value, and use REBET only when you meant to repeat. More arcade-style titles are on the 918Kiss mini games page. For access, get a 918Kiss game ID.

Troubleshooting and questions

Is Shark a slot machine?

No. There are no reels. It is a wheel-style game on a square ring of 28 animal tiles; you bet before the round, then one tile is picked.

What do the two x2 boxes cover?

One carries a blue wing-like icon and the other a paw print, which matches the usual 'all birds' and 'all beasts' group bets in this kind of game. The screen does not spell it out, so check the help page.
