Iceland (ACE333): what the polar bear reel and the igloo scatter do

Iceland is a 50-line arctic slot that ACE333 shares with the 918Kiss lobby. The frame is identical: icy blue boxes for BALANCE, BET and WIN, a RANDOM JACKPOT meter with MAJOR and MINOR beside it, and "50 Lines selected" printed above the left reel. This page is about the two symbols that make the game different from the rest of the pack.

The ordinary symbols first

Card letters 9, 10, J, Q, K and A in bright gradients take up most of the reels. The animal pictures sit in round frames: an orca, a snowy owl, a wolf, a pair of penguins and a walrus. In the screenshots the owl and wolf turn up most often among the animals.

The polar bear

The bear does not appear as a small tile. When it lands it fills the whole reel as one picture of a polar bear on the ice. In the capture below it covered reel 3, the top bar read "You won 8 lines", and the WIN box showed 2.04 on a 0.50 bet.

It behaves like a wild: with a full reel of it in the middle, any matching pair on reels 1 and 2 can run through it to reel 4 on several of the 50 lines at once. That is why one bear is worth more than any single animal symbol.

The igloo scatter

The igloo is marked SCATTER in blue letters across the dome. It pays where it lands rather than along a line. Two appeared together on reels 3 and 5 in one spin.

The old page mentioned a free-spin feature with a multiplier. We never reached that stage here, so treat any figures you read elsewhere with care.

Setting the bet

There is no LINES button. All 50 lines are always on, and the BET - and + buttons change the total. At 1.00 the small print says 0.02 bet per line; at 0.50 it says 0.01. The eight 0.50 spins after the first capture ran the balance from 44.93 down to 43.43, with the bear spin the only real win.
