Wilds of Africa (Live22): reading 50 line tabs and the diamond in a line win

Wilds of Africa puts a four-row grid in front of an orange savanna sunset, with acacia trees framing both sides. The reels are pale gold, and a green TOKYO badge sits on the top-right corner. It is a 50-line game, and the first thing you notice is the wall of small coloured number tabs down each edge.

The line tabs

Both sides carry tabs from 1 to 50, each in its own colour, stacked in a narrow column beside the reels. When a line pays, a thin line in the matching colour crosses the grid from its tab. With 50 of them it is easier to read the message than to follow the stroke by eye: each winning line carries its amount printed on the last symbol it counts.

• Lion, roaring, often stacked two or three high on the hero screen
• Elephant in grey, zebra, giraffe and a buffalo on a purple tile
• Sunset scene with elephant and giraffe silhouettes under an acacia
• Blue diamond, probably the wild
• A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, the K and J with small crowns and beetles

Three wins at bet 50

• 70: K, K and a diamond along the bottom row, with 20 printed on the diamond, plus other lines on the same spin.
• 124: several elephant lines at once. Elephants land on reels 1 to 3 in the middle rows, and one line shows 4 on its last elephant.
• 16: a line of As through a diamond on reel 2, marked 4, and a buffalo line on the left.

The diamond finishing a line of Ks, and again sitting inside a line of As, is why it is listed above as the probable wild.

Stake and pacing

At a total bet of 50 you are playing one credit a line, the lowest setting the captures show. With 50 lines and stacked animals, small wins land on most spins, so the balance moves slowly. The 124 spin paid about two and a half times the stake; bigger results need the stacked lion reels to connect.
