Great Blue (LPE88): how the desktop client's coin, line and bet buttons add up
Great Blue on LPE88 uses the older desktop bet panel, where coin value, coins per line and lines multiply into your total. Here is how it reads.

Great Blue is Playtech's ocean slot with the killer whale wild, and it turns up on several of the platforms this site covers. On LPE88 it runs in the older desktop client, which has a busier bet panel than the phone versions. That panel is the reason for this page: once you see how its three settings multiply, the total bet stops being a surprise.
The screen
A deep blue sea fills the background with the GREAT BLUE title in chrome letters at the top. The line numbers run down both sides of the reels, 25 in all, in a scrambled order (4, 2, 24, 20 on the left; 14, 18, 12, 9 on the right). Low symbols are 9, 10, J, Q, K and A drawn as translucent blue bubbles. The pictures are a pink starfish, an orange seahorse, a yellow striped fish, a green turtle, a dolphin and a shark. The WILD is a killer whale leaping out of the water.
Between spins the title swaps for a banner reminding you that three or more of the bonus symbol start the feature.
The bet panel, button by button
The strip under the reels holds a coin value box marked CLICK TO CHANGE (RM0.01), a minus-10-plus counter for coins per line, then LINES 25, LINE BET RM0.10, TOTAL BET RM2.50 and a WIN box. Below that are INFO, AUTO START, LINES, BET PER LINE, BET MAX and a wide pink SPIN bar. The balance shows at the bottom left and a message bar in the middle names the line that paid.
The sum is simple once laid out: RM0.01 coin x 10 coins = RM0.10 a line, x 25 lines = RM2.50 a spin. Dropping the coins per line to 1 cuts that to RM0.25 without touching the lines.
What the wins looked like
Four spins here paid RM0.60, RM0.60, RM0.40 and RM1.20, mostly from two-of-a-kind and short lines at RM0.20 each. The biggest came on line 20, where the killer whale wild completed the line for RM1.
Meanwhile the balance slid from about MYR96.60 to MYR83.80, which is the normal shape of this game: steady small returns under the stake, with the free-games bonus carrying the real payouts.
Pacing on a small budget

Troubleshooting and questions
What triggers the Great Blue bonus?
A banner in the game reads '3 or more [shell] wins bonus', so three or more of the shell scatters start it. In the Playtech original you then pick shells that add free games and multipliers.
How is the bet worked out?
Coin value times coins per line gives LINE BET (RM0.01 x 10 = RM0.10), and LINE BET times LINES gives TOTAL BET (RM0.10 x 25 = RM2.50).
