True Love is a Valentine's slot in the older NTC33 frame: magenta borders, heart-shaped line markers and the logo with a red heart between the two words. It plays on five reels and three rows with up to 15 paylines.
The symbols on the reels
The low symbols are chunky pastel card ranks: 9, 10, J, Q, K and A in green, purple, turquoise, blue, pink and orange. The picture symbols are all gift ideas and love tokens:
- a red rose on green leaves
- a gold ring with a big pink stone
- a violin and bow on a yellow disc
- a heart-shaped box of chocolates
- a white dove
- a cupid with a bow, in a gold frame
- a blonde woman with a pink heart behind her
Free games at x3
The strip above the reels takes turns between the logo and a message. The message reads: 3 or more (small portrait of the blonde woman) wins 15 free games with a x3 multiplier. So she is the scatter, and position does not matter.
Fifteen spins with every win tripled is the main feature of the game. The screenshots stop before the feature, so the free-games screen itself is not shown here.
The bet bar and the line count
Heart markers numbered 1 to 15 line both sides of the reels. The info row reads: coin value (RM0.01, "click to change"), SPINS with minus and plus, LINES, LINE BET, TOTAL BET and WIN.
In the hero shot all 15 lines are on at RM0.10 each, so TOTAL BET is RM1.50. In the later shots LINES has been dropped to 1 and TOTAL BET is RM0.10. That is a fifteen-fold difference from one button, so glance at TOTAL BET after touching LINES or BET PER LINE.
Using AUTO START
The SPINS box starts at 10. Press AUTO START and it counts down (it shows 9 after the first spin). It is a quick way to play a fixed block and stop, rather than tapping SPIN one at a time. The red SPIN button turns into STOP while the reels move.
Other titles from the same era of the NTC33 lobby include Top Trumps Celebs, with the same two-row bet bar. See the NTC33 overview for the rest, or ask for an NTC33 game ID.
Troubleshooting and questions
Which symbol gives the free games?
The banner shows a small portrait of the blonde woman with a heart behind her: three or more of those anywhere win 15 free games with a x3 multiplier.
What does the cupid symbol do?
It is the only regular symbol in a gold frame, which in this game family usually marks the wild. The screenshots do not show it substituting, so check INFO.
