Wings of Gold (NTC33): the wartime flying slot, the XtraWin switch and a 1-line win

Wings of Gold is a wartime aviation slot on a clear blue sky: the title in gold military lettering with wings, fighter planes crossing the reels, and card letters that look stitched from tan leather like an old flight jacket. It runs on 20 lines, with numbered circles down both sides.

The symbols

• Pin-up pilot: a red-haired woman in a blue officer's cap, in a round portrait frame.
• Ace pilot: a moustached man in a leather flying helmet and goggles, in a square frame.
• Three fighters: a green twin-boom plane, a grey camouflaged fighter and a tan propeller plane with red roundels.
• WINGS OF GOLD logo, used as a symbol in its own right.
• Wild: a red tile with Wild in script.
• 9, 10, J, Q, K, A in stitched leather.

The XtraWin badge

Next to the logo sits a badge reading XtraWin, CLICK TO ACTIVATE. On first load a pop-up in the bottom left adds "NEW XtraWin FEATURE, CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS", with an X to close it. In Playtech's own games XtraWin is an optional mode that charges more per spin in return for better long-run pays. Read the details before tapping it, because it changes what a spin costs.

From 20 lines to 1

The hero shot is at LINE BET MYR0.01 and TOTAL BET MYR0.20, all 20 lines. The later shots drop to LINES 1 at MYR0.10, and every circle except the two marked 1 goes dark.

On 1 line only the middle row counts. In one shot the WINGS OF GOLD logo lands on reel 1's middle row and four planes land across the other reels, but not in a matching run.

A Wild on line 1

In the last screenshot the 9 on reel 1 and a Wild on reel 2 are boxed in yellow along the middle row, and a yellow line runs on to the right. The WIN box shows MYR0.30 on a MYR0.10 bet.

Pacing

One line at ten sen costs MYR0.10 a spin. Twenty lines at one sen costs MYR0.20 and gives every plane and pilot a chance to connect. Stick with 20 lines at the smallest line bet.
