Wu Lu Cai Shen (五路财神) means the gods of wealth of the five roads. In this NTC33 slot they are five chubby, laughing cartoon figures in different coloured robes, and each one has a jackpot of its own. Red background, firecrackers and a lucky knot on the left, a pink pig peeking out beside the spin button.
The five gods and their ladder
The panel to the right of the reels is headed 5 OF A KIND JACKPOT. Under it are five boxes, each next to a small figure of the matching god. With the line bet at RM1 they read, top to bottom:
- Red robe: RM37,656.15
- Brown face, gold hat: RM3,970.45
- Green robe: RM1,536.28
- Purple robe: RM752.58
- Blue robe: RM400.38
Land five of the same god on a line and that box is the prize, going by the heading.
The ladder moves with your bet
Drop LINE BET to RM0.20 and the ladder changes: RM2,253.75, RM526.57, RM1,071.38, RM222.42 and RM120.20. Not a straight fifth, and the brown and green gods even swap places. The figures are clearly worked out from the bet, but the formula is not on screen. Check what the ladder says at your own stake before you get excited about a column of gods.
The other symbols
Gold ingot pots heaped with coins are a high-paying picture; the hero shot has three of them on the middle row, reels 2 to 4.
The free games come from a different symbol. A banner across the top reads 3 OR MORE [coin] ANYWHERE TRIGGER THE UNLIMITED CAI SHEN FREE GAMES, and the icon in it is a small round coin, not the ingot pot. That coin does not appear on the reels in any of the three screenshots, and no free games screen was captured.
The low symbols are 9, 10, J, Q, K and A in gold, green, blue and red.
The bet panel and a warning
INFO, LINES 15, LINE BET with minus and plus, TOTAL BET, WIN, AUTO PLAY, TURBO MODE and SPIN. At RM1 a line, TOTAL BET is RM15. In the hero shot the strip under the reels says INSUFFICIENT BALANCE FOR THE REQUESTED BET: the balance could not cover it.
Pacing
At RM0.20 a line a spin is RM3, which is already a lot for a casual session. The top jackpot shrinks with the bet, but there is no sign on screen that the odds of five red gods do, so a small stake keeps you in the game for the same chance at a smaller box. Troubleshooting and questions
Why did the jackpots drop when I lowered my bet?
The five figures on the ladder are tied to the line bet. At RM1 a line the red god's jackpot read RM37,656.15; at RM0.20 it read RM2,253.75. The drop is not a straight fifth, so the game uses its own scale; check the info page.
What does 'insufficient balance for the requested bet' mean?
The account balance is smaller than the total bet selected, RM15 in that screenshot. Lower LINE BET until the message goes away.
