Sparta's Legacy is a Greek war slot on Live22 with a 5 x 4 grid and a free spins round that begins with a picker. The base game sits under a cloudy mountain sky; once the feature starts the backdrop turns to a stormy blue sea. The best part of the game is that picker, so this page is mostly about the bonus.
The base game in brief
The card values 9 to A are carved into sandstone tiles. The picture symbols are Spartan soldiers: a spearman on a blue tile, an archer on green, a red-plumed helmet, a warrior in a gold mask, and a blond king in a red cape who can fill a whole reel. There is also a purple WILD, a black JACKPOT tile with a helmet, crossed swords, and a queen in white inside a laurel medallion.
How the feature starts
In our session two queen medallions lit up in the same spin, a small line win of 6 came in, and AUTO SPIN, FAST and SPIN went grey. The message under the reels in the base game reads "2 SCATTER SYMBOLS AWARDS FREE SPINS", which points to the queen as the scatter.
The shield picker
A plank of bronze shields slides past a gold frame while "GOOD LUCK!" is written on a stone wall below. The shields we saw:
- 3 MORE SPIN and 5 MORE SPIN: extra free spins
- SPARTAN WILD REEL: a reel turned wild
- 2x SPARTAN WILD: wilds that double the line
- COIN: a credit award
Ours stopped on 2x SPARTAN WILD. The result appears in large red and gold letters with a green START button.
Inside the free spins
The panel changes completely. TOTAL BET, TOTAL WIN, the spin win box, a FREE SPINS counter and a red STOP button replace the normal controls.
With the counter at 3/5 the king covered reel 5 and a gold WILD plus a blue 2x WILD landed on the bottom row. TOTAL WIN read 146 at a total bet of 40.
When the counter showed 1/5, three WILD shields and a 2x WILD landed, the spin paid 310 and the round total reached 466, more than eleven times the stake.
Bet sizing
The base game was captured at 200 and at 40. Since the picker decides whether you get extra spins or a doubling wild, the feature can swing a lot; 40 is plenty to learn it. The Live22 overview shows where Sparta's Legacy sits in the lobby, and Zeus D'Mighty is the other Greek title on the platform. You can get a Live22 game ID to try the picker yourself.
Troubleshooting and questions
Can I choose the shield in the picker?
No. The shields roll past a gold frame and stop on their own. The screen says GOOD LUCK while it runs, then shows the result with a START button.
What does 2x Spartan Wild do?
In our round, round WILD and 2x WILD shields landed during the free spins. A 2x wild doubles the line it completes. Wins stacked up to 466 at a total bet of 40 over the round.
