Zeus D'Mighty (Live22): a symbol-by-symbol look at the Greek temple reels

Zeus D'Mighty sets its reels in a white marble temple with fluted columns and draped curtains, blue sky and clouds showing behind. A MIRACLE POT badge sits on the top-right corner. What makes it unusual among Live22 slots is that there are no card letters at all: every one of the twenty positions on the 5 x 4 grid shows a picture.

The symbols

Grouped roughly by look:

• Zeus, white-bearded, on a blue tile
• A fist gripping a lightning bolt
• Spartan helmet with a red crest, round bronze shield, and a ship's sail on a gold coin
• Pegasus on a gold coin, and a silver coin with a chariot
• Lyre, laurel wreath, amphora, marble column and rolled scroll

The WILD is a small Greek temple on a blue tile with WILD written across the base.

With so many picture symbols, it is hard to tell the low payers from the high ones by art alone. The scrolls, columns and wreaths turn up most often and pay the least in the captures.

Three wins at bet 50

• 15: helmet on reel 1, a WILD on reel 2, helmet on reel 3, and on to reel 4. The 15 is printed on the first helmet. Zeus stands stacked all four rows high on reel 4 on the same spin, but does not join the win.
• 5: a scroll line bending down through reel 2 and back up, with a WILD on reel 3. A second WILD lands on reel 5 in the same spin.
• 15: sail coins on reels 1 and 2 joined by a WILD on reel 3.

Each winning symbol gets a coloured box matching the colour of its line. The wild shows up in all three wins, and on two of the screens more than one wild lands at once.

Stake and pacing

All captures were at 50. The balance on the top bar falls from about 1,000 to about 200 across them, which shows how quickly a 5 x 4 game can eat a small balance when the wins are 5 and 15. Consider a lower stake, and decide where you stop before you start.
