Age of the Gods (LPE88): reading the symbols, the wild and the four jackpot boxes

Age of the Gods is the slot that started Playtech's Greek-myth series, and the LPE88 lobby carries the original version. This page is a symbol-by-symbol read of the screen, since the paytable is where the game's logic lives and most players never press INFO.

What the screen looks like

The layout is the desktop-style Playtech client: a dark menu strip across the top (GAMES, FEATURED, NEW, SLOTS, TABLE & CARDS, ARCADE, LIVE DEALERS, PROGRESSIVE GAMES, SCRATCH), then the four jackpot boxes, then five reels by three rows on deep navy panels. Waterfalls and white marble temples frame the reels on both sides. Your balance sits in small type at the bottom left (it read MYR99.80 in the first shot).

Small numbered tabs pop out at the edge of the reels when a line pays, which is how you know it is a 20-line game even before you look at the LINES box.

The symbols, from small to big

Card-style letters. Instead of the usual 10-J-Q-K-A, this game uses K plus two Greek letters, Omega and Lambda, all in purple-blue with a gold edge. They fill most of the reels and pay the small wins.

The gold helmet. A crested Spartan helmet in gold and red. It is the most common picture symbol and the one you will see paying on short lines.

The gods. Poseidon (teal, with trident), Athena (red hair, spear), Hercules (lion-skin hood, gold frame), Hades (purple, white hair) and Zeus (grey beard) each have their own coloured tile. The old page listed Hera too; she is not in any of these screenshots.

WILD. A purple tile with a gold laurel wreath and the word WILD. It substitutes for the pictures and letters, and five on a line is the biggest regular win: the game states it as 10000x line bet.

The Age of the Gods logo. The gold title logo is the scatter. Three or more anywhere on the screen start the Age of the Gods bonus. In the Playtech original that bonus is a free-games round, and this version's banner uses the same wording.

The four jackpot boxes

Ultimate Power (gold, left, over RM2.3 million in these screenshots), Extra Power (blue, about RM15,500), Super Power (pink, right, around RM87,900) and Power (green, a few hundred ringgit). The numbers creep up between screenshots, so these are shared pools rather than fixed prizes. In the Playtech original any spin can open the jackpot game at random; there is no symbol you collect for it.

Bet panel and a small-budget session

INFO, LINES (20), LINE BET with minus and plus, WIN over TOTAL BET, AUTO PLAY, TURBO MODE and SPIN run left to right in gold. At RM0.01 a line one spin costs RM0.20, so RM20 is roughly a hundred spins. The screenshot wins here were RM0.12 to RM0.75, which is typical: many small returns that barely move the balance. Leave Turbo off and decide your stop point before the first spin.
