Roulette 24 (Mega888): the 25-pocket wheel, bet by bet

Roulette 24 sits between the tiny and the huge wheels in the Mega888 lobby: numbers 1 to 24 plus a single green 0, so 25 pockets in all. This page goes through the board one box at a time, because on a short wheel the boxes are not the ones you know from a casino table.
The layout at a glance
MIN 0.5 and MAX 100 are shown top left, with a result strip below them. The green 0 runs down the left side of the board. Then come eight columns of three numbers:
- top row: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24
- middle row: 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23
- bottom row: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22
Red numbers here are always odd and black numbers always even.

The rows are the only boxes with a payout printed on them (2to1). In our result capture WIN reads 2 against a BET of 1, which fits an even-money payout on one of the 12-number boxes.
What the zero does
On every outside bet the 0 is the pocket that beats you. With 25 pockets, the maths is simple: bet the 8-number row at 2 to 1 and you win 8 times in 25 on average, collecting 3 units each time, which is 24 back from 25 staked. That 4% gap is the price of every spin, whichever outside box you pick.
The wheel
The wheel is wooden with a copper pagoda-style turret in the middle and 25 red and black pockets. The zero sits between 12 and 15. The ball in our capture is still travelling, with BET showing 0.5.
Pacing
A 100 cap keeps losses per round bounded, but it does not slow them. At the 0.5 minimum a balance of RM50 gives you around a hundred even-money bets before the edge alone would, on average, take a couple of RM off you. Decide your stop point before the first spin.

Troubleshooting and questions
How big is the house edge on Roulette 24?
With one zero on 25 pockets and the rows paying 2 to 1 as marked, you get back 24 units per 25 staked on average, an edge of 4%. Even-money boxes work out the same if they pay 1 to 1.
Why is the table maximum only 100?
That is the limit this game shows (MAX 100). Roulette 12 on the same platform allows 200 and Roulette 73 allows 700.
