Mega888: a manual for the lobby, from 9-line slots to Roulette 73

Mega888 is an app-based game lobby: install it on the phone, log in with an ID, and pick from a grid of slots, small table games and arcade-style boards. If you have used 918Kiss (SCR888), it will feel familiar. Plenty of titles appear in both lobbies, often with identical reels and only a change of colour on the buttons.

What all the Mega888 slot screens share

Once you know one Mega888 slot, most of the others read the same way.

• The jackpot bar. Three counters, usually labelled MINOR, MAJOR and RANDOM (sometimes RANDOM JACKPOT), sit across the top or down the side. In our screenshots RANDOM tends to climb steadily while MINOR and MAJOR jump up and down between shots.
• Line tabs. Numbered tabs or circles down both sides of the reels, in a jumbled order. Each marks where a payline starts. Inactive lines go dark.
• BAL or CURRENT BALANCE, BET, WIN or GAME WIN.
• LINES and BET with minus and plus. On some games BET is the total per spin, on others the bet per line, so read the small text near the top ("0.04 Bet per line") before assuming.
• AUTO or AUTO PLAY and SPIN. SPIN turns into STOP while the reels turn, and the other buttons grey out until they land.
• A message bar. "GOOD LUCK", "PRESS REVEAL", or after a win "You won 7 on line 1" and "TOTAL WIN".

A handful of games add a gamble screen after a win. Each one is different, so they have their own pages.

Video slots

The biggest group. Five reels, three rows, and 9 to 25 lines.

• Sea Captain: cartoon fishing slot, 25 lines; the page compares 1-line and 25-line bets.
• Sea World: fruit-machine symbols under the sea, gold WILD coins and SPINSPIN FREE badges.
• Shining Star: neon fruit and card suits; a short session followed spin by spin.
• Silver Bullet: Wild West saloon cabinet, 9 lines, a Dollar Ball button.
• Snow World: polar bear WILD and snowman BONUS.
• Santa: Christmas slot where the tree, not Santa, is wild.
• Seasons Greetings: Christmas meets Chinese New Year on 9 lines.
• Silent Run: submarines, torpedoes and depth charges on 20 lines.
• Rally Championship: car-badge slot with 20 lines.
• Robin Hood Shifting Riches: forest grid with 15 lines.
• Samurai: loads as Silent Samurai, 9 lines and a GAMBLE button.

Slots with a gamble stage

• Safari Heat: savanna animals on 15 lines, then a red-or-black card gamble with BANK and COLLECT.
• Shui Gu Zuan Water Margin: the arcade outlaw theme on 9 lines, with a dice-cup gamble paying x2, x4 or x6.

Classic three-reel

• Reel Classic 3: one payline, cherries and bars, and a coin button that matters for one row of the paytable.

Mini roulettes

Mega888 carries three roulettes that do not use the standard 37-pocket wheel. Each is worth reading before you bet, because the board layouts are unusual.

• Roulette 12: 13 pockets and a twelve-number board.
• Roulette 24: a 0-24 wheel on a three-row board.
• Roulette 73: a double-size 0-72 wheel on a six-row board.

Dice, cards and arcade boards

• Sic Bo: software dice table in blue, MIN 0.5 and MAX 1000.
• Single Pick: guess the suit of one card, or the joker at x20.
• Racing Car: not a reel game; bet on which car badge the lit ring stops on.

How Mega888 compares with 918Kiss

Where a game exists in both lobbies we have written two pages with different angles, so you can use them together. Sea Captain on 918Kiss covers the symbols while the Mega888 page covers bet sizing; the same split applies to SeaWorld, Shining Star, Silver Bullet, Seasons and Sic Bo. The reels and symbols match in every pair we have screenshots of. The differences are cosmetic: button colours, the menu icon, and sometimes the name in the lobby.

Before you play

A few habits that apply across the whole lobby:

1. Check what BET means on each game. Total per spin on some, per line on others.
2. Keep all lines on. Several of our pages show 1-line spins where a good-looking result paid nothing because it was off the middle row.
3. Treat gamble buttons as optional. DOUBLE, GAMBLE and the dice cup are all ways to risk a win you already have.
4. Count spins, not losses. Decide on a number before you start.
