Mega888's Shining Star is the same neon fruit machine that 918Kiss carries: cherries, bells, BAR blocks, orange sevens and fat card-suit gems, with Shining Stars in gold script on the right. The five screenshots from the old page happen to run in order, so here they are as a mini session.
Spin 0: the bet is 100
The first shot is at BET 100 with 1642 in CURRENT BALANCE. Nothing lined up: bells on reels 1 and 4, BARs on 2 and 3, a seven on reel 3 and a HITS badge in the bottom right. At 100 a spin, a 1642 balance lasts sixteen spins.
Spin 1: down to 25
Next shot, BET is 25 and the balance reads 1617. The reels are mid-spin: reels 1 and 2 have stopped, 3 to 5 are still blurred, and the message bar says GOOD LUCK. The minus and plus buttons and AUTO PLAY are greyed out, and SPIN has changed into a pink STOP.
Spins 2 and 3
Still 1617 in the next shot: the stake came off when the spin started, not when it landed. Cherries on reel 3, spades on reel 4, no line. Then 1592 and PRESS REVEAL in the message bar: bells on reels 4 and 5, hearts on 2 and 3, still nothing.
Spin 4: the near miss
The last shot is the interesting one. Reel 1 has a seven on top, and reel 2 has sevens on its top and middle rows. Reel 4 is bells top to bottom. Reel 5 is still spinning, with a seven blurring past, and the balance has dropped to 1567. Sevens on reels 1 and 2 need a third on reel 3, and reel 3 has already stopped on a club, a BAR and a heart.
What the log says
Three spins at 25 took the balance from 1642 to 1567, which is 75 in all, less than one spin at the opening bet of 100. No win in five shots is not unusual, and the game owes you nothing for a dry run. Watching reels 1 and 2 tells you early whether a spin is alive, because in every mid-spin shot the reels land left to right.

Troubleshooting and questions
How much does one spin cost on Shining Star?
Whatever the BET box shows: it is the total for all 25 lines. In these shots a spin at 25 took the balance from 1617 to 1592, then to 1567.
Is the blue star the bonus symbol?
The old page said a blue STAR on reels 2, 3 or 4 triggers a bonus that turns the reel into stars. No blue star symbol appears in any of the five screenshots, so that could not be checked.
