Shui Gu Zuan Water Margin on Mega888: a 7-credit win taken to the dice table

Shui Gu Zuan, or Water Margin (水滸傳), is the old Chinese arcade machine theme: outlaw heroes, weapons and a hall plaque on nine lines. Mega888's version keeps the look and adds a dice table after wins. The five screenshots follow one small win from reel to gamble.

The reels

The frame is a wooden pavilion with a green roof, a drum on the left, and the 水滸傳 title on a green sign. Above it sit MINOR, RANDOM and MAJOR, plus a back arrow and a settings cog.

The symbols are heroes and gear from the novel:

  • Portraits: a red-hatted leader marked 宋 (Song), a bald monk marked 魯 (Lu), and a man in a blue cap marked 林 (Lin).
  • Plaques and banners: the blue 忠義堂 (Loyalty Hall) board and a yellow 替天行道 banner.
  • Weapons: a curved broadsword, a spear and a double-headed axe.
  • The green dragon tile with 水滸傳 written across it, the likely wild.

A small line win

Down at 1 line and BET 1 ("1 Bet per line"), the middle row landed two monks and a dragon tile. The three are boxed, a red line runs across them, and the messages read "You won on 1 line" and "You won 7 on line 1". WIN shows 7. If the dragon tile had not stood in for a third monk, there would have been no win, which is what marks it as the wild.

The dice table

After the win the game cuts to a gambling den. A grinning dice master sits behind a cup, two scowling heavies stand behind him, and two more players lean on the table. The cloth has three coloured zones:

  • Blue 小, 2 to 6: x2; a pair of ones, twos or threes pays x4
  • Yellow 和, exactly 7: x6
  • Red 大, 8 to 12: x2; a pair of fours, fives or sixes pays x4

CREDIT reads 1335, TOTAL BET 7 (the reel win), and a red TAKE button sits in the corner.

Pacing

How does the Water Margin dice gamble work?

After a win you can stake it on the next roll of two dice: 小 (2 to 6) or 大 (8 to 12) pays x2, 和 (exactly 7) pays x6, and a small or big pair pays x4. In the round shown, 7 credits on Small met a pair of ones and paid 28.

Where is the Little Mary bonus?

The old page mentioned the arcade 'Little Mary' bonus. None of these screenshots show it, so it could not be confirmed for this build.
