Single Pick (Mega888): betting on the suit of one card

Single Pick is a one-card guessing game: bet on a suit, press START, one card is turned. It takes a few seconds a round, and everything you need is on one screen.

The screen

On the left, a single card sits in an ornate gold frame against a sky-blue background. Before a round it shows a red patterned back; in the second screenshot it shows a jester in red and yellow. The right side is a large empty grid, the history sheet, with a counter bar above it.

The counter bar reads Round No. and then five small tallies: spade, heart, club, diamond and JOKER. After one round the diamond tally reads 1 and the grid's first square shows ♦5, the card from round 1.

The five bet boxes

Along the bottom are five buttons with a small stake display beside each:

• Heart x3.8
• Club x4.0
• Diamond x4.0
• Joker (crown icon) x20

Tap CHIPS to set the chip value; the shots show x1000 and x50. Tap a suit to place it. In round 2 the player has 50 on hearts and the balance reads 2754, down from 2854 in the first shot.

A line above the balance reads JOKER: return the other bet. Taken at its word, a joker gives your suit bets back. The CLEAR button wipes the table and START deals.

Pacing

A given suit comes up roughly one round in four, so x3.8 or x4.0 sits close to the real odds, not above them. The joker at x20 is the long shot.
